LIVE | Informal Meeting of Ministers for the Economy and Finance

On 25 February 2022, as part of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Bruno Le Maire, Minister for the Economy, Finance and the Recovery, will host an informal meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) in Paris. In addition to the other EU Economic and Financial Affairs Ministers, Minister Le Maire will be joined by the 27 national Central Bank Governors; Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank; Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission; European Commissioners Paolo Gentiloni and Mairead McGuinness; and Werner Hoyer, President of the European Investment Bank. Participants will discuss economic growth in the post-pandemic era and deliberate on how to raise Europe’s growth potential and build a greener, more competitive and more resilient economy in the EU.
