48% of those with lapsed vaccination statuses are Singaporeans, mostly seniors: MOH

Singaporeans made up almost half of the 21,800 people aged 18 and above whose COVID-19 vaccination status lapsed on Feb 14. The others are work pass holders and permanent residents. In an update in Parliament, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said it's difficult to ascertain why these people are not getting their boosters, but indications are that many are overseas. He added that amongst Singaporeans not boosted, the majority are seniors aged 60 and above.
