Breastfeeding -- An Entirely New Approach

The mind/body connection... mindfulness... embodiment practices. What do these concepts have to do with nursing a baby? Everything!

Breastfeeding/chestfeeding is often taught by giving parents the goal of learning positions (such as the "football hold" or the "cross-cradle"). But learning to nurse is not like learning to perform a gymnastics move.

It's much more like learning to walk and then run--through a combination of instinct, body awareness, patience, learning what works across cultures (and even species!), and watching others.

If you're already nursing but experiencing nipple pain, arm or back soreness, exhaustion, resentment toward your baby, or worries about whether feedings are too long or too short, join us to learn ways to reverse these issues! If you're expecting, come learn the secrets to help prevent such challenges and prepare for pain-free, joyful nursing.
