One school in Cornwall has come under fire from parents after introducing a special ‘red card’ pass - which girls must request while on their period in order to go to the toilet during class time, with the rest of the students only being allowed to use the loo outside of class time. So, is it a good idea to keep kids in lessons, or could it cause crushing embarrassment for those on their periods? And should schools really ever dictate pupils' toilet time?
