NHRC takes cognizance of complaint regarding Marianne

The National Human Rights Commission has directed the North Goa SP Nidhin Valsan to take action on the complaint of French Actress Marianne Borgo's alleged confinement and torture. The Commission has also directed the SP to file a report within 8 weeks on the case. NHRC took up the complaint on 3rd February 2023.
