I go over where and how I locate and catch crappie in January. This is usually one of the colder months and can be some tough fishing if you don't know where to look.

Today all fish were caught on plastic jigs and my 7ft BnM Sam's Super Sensitive rod with 6 lb Mr. Crappie High vis mono.
