Ransomware is Real: Why treat it as an insignificant risk?

Wearing my foil hat in this episode because some people who don't see ransomware all the time like I do act like it is an insignificant risk. I've even heard some security professionals say that people are fear-mongering about ransomware. Vendors ARE often fear-mongering, ambulance chasers, BUT ransomware is a very real threat.

PLEASE: When you hear someone discounting the threat of ransomware, ignore them and take it seriously.
