It’s Even Tougher for Americans?? UK's Largest 14-Inch Monster Doughnut Challenge in Nottingham!!

A&Z #1119 - Professional eater Randy Santel vs Doughnotts' 14-Inch Monster Doughnut Challenge hosted by the original Doughnotts Handmade Doughnuts location in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands, England of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 3-week Scotland Tour, @KatinaEatsKilos and I spent 4 weeks (1 month) exploring most of the major cities and areas in the northern half of England. During our travels, I attempted 18 English man vs food restaurant challenges. For British food eating challenge event #11, we headed to Nottingham, England which is the home of the original Doughnotts Handmade Doughnuts location, opened up back in 2015. Katina and I each attempted Doughnotts' handmade 14-Inch Monster Doughnut Challenge and I had just 40 minutes to feast on the UK's largest doughnut challenge which featured a 14" diameter doughnut lathered with chocolate buttercream frosting and then covered with lots of different British candies and chocolates, all drizzled with more melted chocolate. I was trying to win my £45 British monster doughnut dessert free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Doughnotts Nottingham's Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Doughnotts for the wonderful doughnut dessert, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all the wonderful people from around the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire area who came up that Sunday afternoon to watch and meet us!! Doughnotts' 14-Inch Monster British Doughnut Challenge in Nottingham, England, UK (£45):

- Owners Wade Smith and Megan Scaddan started Doughnotts together back in 2015, with the original location being in Nottingham, England where I attempted this challenge. There are now 6 locations around the Midlands and this donut challenge can be made available at each of the six locations if you call ahead and schedule your attempt in advanced so they have time to order and prepare it for you.
- My English friends Adam, Leah, Kyle, and Max all attempted this 14-Inch Monster Doughnut Challenge which is billed as Great Britain's biggest doughnut, so Katina and I wanted to try it too. It wasn't necessarily on purpose, but Katina and I (Americans) did each get doughnuts with way more toppings than everyone else got on their doughnut(s) who tried previously.
- The doughnut challenge consisted of a very thick 14-inch diameter monster-sized doughnut loaded with chocolate buttercream frosting and then covered with lots of different British candies and chocolates, all drizzled with more melted chocolate. The whole doughnut weighed over 3kg / 6.5lbs total and I had just 40 minutes to finish everything.
- Winners earn the £45 monster doughnut free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame!!
