Alarm in Kremlin! One of The Most Modern Combat Vehicles Coming From Sweden to Ukraine!

According to the most recent Swedish official information about the new military aid package for Ukraine revealed on January 19, 2023, Sweden would equip Ukraine with the CV9040, one of the world's most sophisticated and powerful tracked armored IFVs (Infantry Fighting Vehicles).

The Swedish Ministry of Defense announced further military aid for Ukraine on January 19, 2023, including the donation of CV90 tracked armored IFVs and ARCHER 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzers. It is Sweden's third and largest military aid package.

The package includes a procurement cooperation program, instructions to the Swedish Armed Forces on how to prepare for the transfer of the Archer Artillery System, and the largest ever defense equipment package. The weapons, worth around €385 billion, include recoilless rifles with ammunition, anti-tank weapons, assault rifles, demining equipment, the Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90) with ammunition and the light anti-armor weapon Robot 57 (NLAW).

The CV90 (Combat Vehicle 90) is a tracked armored Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) series developed and built by the Swedish company BAE Systems Hägglunds. The CV90 is intended to be a highly mobility and well-protected vehicle capable of performing a range of missions such as reconnaissance, infantry warfare, and support.
