Google has released its Year in Search 2022. And when it came to the top trending searches in America, for better or worse, “election results” finished second, while “Wordle” finished first!
As for the top trending searched PEOPLE of the year, seems we were drawn to the salacious: Johnny Depp was first, Amber Heard was third, and Will Smith was the meat in their ‘celebrity dirt’ sandwich! The fourth and fifth spots went to Antonio Brown and Kari Lake… ‘nuff said!
And in what may best sum up the year, America’s top three “near me” searches were gas prices, “at home COVID test”, and voting!
