Mumbai 13 Sep : In a tribute to the late legendary film-maker and actor Guru Dutt, R.Balki came up with the psychological thriller "Chup: Revenge of the Artist'.He spoke about the reasons he brought Dulquer to the project.
He stated: "For 'Chup', I was fortunate to have someone extremely talented, a star in one part of the country and who is fluent in Hindi as if it were his native tongue and who could be an incredible introduction for the rest of the nation.I was looking for a fresh actor to Hindi Cinema with the acting power of an established actor, and then I discovered Dulquer."


Dulquer is famous for his performances in "Kurup," "Hey Sinamika", 'Salute "Sita Ramam," and others.Balki explained the film to him via Zoom during lockdown.he added that, more than the fact that he did not have to explain the film to Dulquer.

The director of 'Cheenikum' stated: "I narrated the film to him via Zoom during the lockdown then that was that.We sat for 30 minutes or about in Cochin and later we met directly to the film's set.I didn't have to read or participate in an activity with his."

"Chup" is all about the wrong critique that an artist must face for his work and is a tribute directed by Dutt's classic 1959 film "Kaagaz Ke Phool".

It stars Sunny Deol, Shreya Dhanwanthary as well as Pooja Bhatt.The film was written by R.Balki and Produced by Gauri Shinde, Hope Filmmakers and Pen Studios.
