'Streets completely ripped up': Flood damage in Nelson extensive, says Minister | Newshub

Nelson residents have been assessing the damage as wild wet weather tears through the region. Minister for Emergency Management Kieran McAnulty says the ruin is extensive, with "streets completely ripped up and water pouring down driveways and landslips falling in front of our eyes". 

Over 300 properties in the area have been evacuated so far, and there are concerns that roughly 20% of those have been yellow or red stickered - meaning they may no longer be inhabitable. ➡️ SUBSCRIBE: https://bit.ly/NewshubYouTube
