Man Utd interested in Hirving Lozano transfer with Napoli star keen on linking up with Casemiro under Erik ten Hag
MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly interested in signing Hirving Lozano from Napoli.
United representatives are said to have approached the Serie A side over the 27-year-old Mexican.
Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Erik ten Hag's team are looking for a new winger.
And have reached out to Napoli to begin negotiating a deal for the forward.
The idea of playing for the Red Devils may tempt the star away from Naples.
Lozano is happy at the Italian club, but a decent offer from a Premier League team could convince the player to think twice.
He joined Napoli in and has played 115 games, scoring 26 goals and gaining 14 assists.
Marca report that they will only sell the Mexico international if United make an offer close to £25million.
He has a release clause worth £110m, but will be available for far less as his contract ends in 2024 and there's no sign of an extension.
Lozano would potentially join Real Madrid star Casemiro in Ten Hag's line up.
United have reportedly agreed a four-year contract with the Brazilian.
And the Red Devils will splash out a whopping £290,000-per-week on him.
It is understood United will pay around £60m for the midfielder who is keen to explore a new adventure.
The 30-year-old looks set to complete the move away from Real, where he has won every trophy available including five Champions Leagues.
