A new round of water cuts have been introduced in the Western United States as the Colorado River dries up. Arizona will lose 21% of its annual supply from the river. Nevada will lose 8%. And Mexico will lose 7%. Lake Mead and Lake Powell have dropped to just 28% capacity. Las Vegas has recently banned lawns in an effort to conserve water. More water cuts are expected as the federal government urges states to save water.
