Vegetation fire in Truckee prompts evacuation order

A vegetation fire burning in Truckee on Thursday has prompted an evacuation order. The fire has burned at least 10 acres at Joerger Drive and Butterfield Drive and has a moderate rate of spread, the Truckee Fire Department said.
