Stan Lee was an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer. He rose through the ranks of a family-run business called Timely Publications which would later become Marvel Comics.
He created characters like the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, the X-Men, and Black Panther, alongside comic-book artist Jack Kirby. Many of Lee's stories were adapted from their original comics into successful films and TV series.
