Deep in the Nellis Range at the height of the Cold War, a general officer takes a secret U.S. Air Force MiG-23 on what promises to be the ultimate “going away flight” before his upcoming retirement. However, limited training and the finicky aircraft will conspire to end this flight in tragedy.
