This virtual session will focus on the importance of ‘research on innovation’ for enhancing African ‘research in innovation’ in efforts to enable the continent to build back better from the effects of COVID and build resilience to future potential shocks. It will consist of a roundtable debate with those involved in developing training in this field, those working in the policy and practice fields who require graduates with this training.
