Veteran Nigerian singer Paul Plei Delo has issued a stern warning while expressing his concerns and concerns about the unification of Nigeria.

The singer from the Yoruba tribe lamented the marginalization of Igbo people in Nigeria in a lengthy Instagram post.

Dairo expressed concern that continued marginalization could negatively impact Nigeria and lead to the disintegration of the country.

However, he noted that he loves Nigeria wholeheartedly and has lived in the country for most of his life and said he submitted his application because he wanted the best for the country.

"I love Nigeria. I have lived in it for most of my life. My concern is that if the marginalization of the Igbo people continues, we may not have this land in a few years," Dello wrote.

"I love this country. I can never choose another country over mine. I'm Yoruba, but I love all Nigerians, no matter which tribe they are.

"I have had more support in my career in the East, South and North than in the West where I come from. I am grateful to all Nigerians for giving me the opportunity to make a name for themselves.

"I don't take it for granted. In fact, I will be grateful for the rest of my life," he added.

The singer went on to tell the truth as he said it could hurt, but the Igbos are betrayed in Nigeria.

He added that the 2023 presidency should be in the Southeast, in the spirit of justice, justice and fairness, while the rest of the region provides support.

"But speaking the truth must be done without fear, without favoritism, without caring whose bull was stabbed. I know some people will come forward and say this shouldn't be done on a tribal basis. Yes, but I'll stand with those Analyse things from the perspective of someone who feels betrayed."

"Anyone who calls themselves Nigerian and thinks the Igbo don't deserve a chance is just acting selfishly and unreasonably. The signs are being written on the wall, but we still think the terror that is growing in the East now will subside or disappear. Hmm. I hope I'm wrong because this peace won't last long.

He concluded by saying that Nigeria is already a blessed country and citizens should not use their actions and inactions to "bless" this country.

He said; "I came in peace. I believe in equal rights and justice for all. God bless Nigeria. Sorry, God bless Nigeria. It's up to me and you not to 'UNSAW IT'. Shalom."
