The World’s Oldest Person Has Died

Japan’s Kane Tanaka, believed to be the world’s oldest person, has passed away. Tanaka was born on January 2, 1903. She died on April 19. Her cause of death was not revealed. While alive, Tanaka survived cancer twice, survived two world wars, and survived both the 1918 Spanish flu and the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2019, she was celebrated and entered into the Guinness World Records. Inside Edition’s Andrea Swindall has more.
