Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann on Monday announced that people in the state would no more have to stand in queues to get ration as it will be delivered at their doorstep.

In a video shared by the CM, Mann says people will have the choice to opt for the scheme and those who live nearby ration depots can get it from the depot and those who opt for the doorstep delivery would have to tell the personnel concerned at what time they are available at their place and good-quality ration would be delivered to them.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
