Deputy President William Ruto has termed as ridiculous and divisive claims by President Uhuru Kenyatta that he had hatched a plan to have him impeached. Speaking in Malindi in his campaigns, Ruto said it is inconceivable how he could orchestrate Kenyatta’s ouster when he played a big role in his election. Ruto instead turned the gun on ODM leader Raila Odinga saying he is the one with an insatiable appetite for power. ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula who led Kenya kwanza campaigns in Western Kenya termed the claims as baseless as such a motion was never tabled in parliament.
