Stormwater drain lids lifting up, roads flooded, rivers bursting their banks. The whole of Ethekwini on high emergency alert.

Bridges on the M4 near Tongaat and La Mercy are at risk of being washed away as well as the Umhlali bridge over the N2 between Salt Rock and Tinley Manor. Also bad flooding In Shongweni area.
