Ingredients
1 lb lamb
1 loaf white bread
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp ginger
5 Thai chilis
1 onion
2 tomatoes
2 potatoes
1 star anise
3 cardamom pods
1/2 tsp fennel seed
`1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 cinnamon stick
½ tbsp turmeric
2 tbsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Brown the meat. Prepare all the veggies. Then fry onion with whole spices (anise, cardamom, cinnamon, fennel and cumin). Then add all powdered spices and cook for couple minutes. Add tomatoes, cook couple more min, add ginger, garlic and thai chilies. Mix, add lamb. Cook 20-25 min on low heat. Add potatoes and 1/2 cup beef broth. Cook another 15-20 min until potatoes are cooked.
